Receive eHome infrared signals

Has anyone had any luck working with eHome Infrared Signals on Windows
7, Vista or XP MCE?

I would like to be able to build a app that can be navigated and
controlled via a Windows Media Center Remote.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
