referring to object names stored in variables

I can't remember if I ever used the selectedline instead of the clickline, but it makes sense. When you look at the selectedchunk on a locked field it shows as char n to n-1 of line l of field f, so the selected items do know the line you clicked on.

I'm glad you saw the same behavior I saw, and don't have a special version of liveCode like Jacque.
