making graphic that looks like the livecode tab menu on mac os x

You can get a pretty good approximation using a roundRect graphic as well...

BackgroundColor = "230,230,230"
ForegroundColor = "179,179,179"
BlendLevel 50%
InnerGlow color="0,0,0", opacity=100, size=10
InnerShadow color="0,0,0", opacity=100, size=2, distance=4, angle=90
