export image with a drop shadow?

Yes, place the image in a group with a suitable margin and export a snapshot of the group (transparency will remain intact).

Has anyone exported an image with a drop shadow?

The rect of the img object does not seem to include the drop shadow.

We need a transparent background, so manually including some of the card won't do.

Any ideas before we just use a Photoshop action? :-)_______________________________________________
