Flash is buggy - Where have I heard that before?

Those links don't claim Flash to be buggy. There is a brief mention that if Flash needs a security patch that it might back up Steve's comments about it being buggy, but that's not the same as saying that it's buggy.

As for security in Flash in general, it's much like with Windows and viruses, and because nearly everyone has Flash installed, that makes a tempting target audience for hackers.

There are alternatives to Flash that are more prone to security issues. Javascript and HTML5 for example. Watch the video here:

especially from 1:35 onwards. You'll see that some people are worried about the security problems of using Javascript.
