I can not copy text from TextEdit or Pages to rev

Might be.  If you can paste elsewhere I'd say it is.

This may be related to a similar issue reported by others using Linux.

Which OS version are you using, and which version of Rev?

And does this happen only with the script editor, or with other Rev 
fields also?
