Xcopy without mounting a network-path

Hola, 

everybody knows how to handel xcopy, for example:
xcopy "D:\*.*" "Y:\*.*" 

but, how to do this without mounting a network-path:
xcopy //myPC/D:\*.* ???

The question behind is that I want to use this with a shell command
