Bernard,

Just experimented, and you are dead right.  The flag becomes unset.  Unfortunately I can't work out what is going on, because I have XP and Vista, and the former doesn't report that property.  Nevertheless, setting it on Vista, then creating an install on XP and installing back on Vista loses the flag somewhere along the way.  Darn it.  It just doesn't seem very professional when you ask people to start twiddling within Vistas under-garments.....
