Livecode's "almost english" syntax trips me up ..

I guess the issue is whether the massive forgiveness of LC syntax is 
sometimes a possible trap. Verbosity is a hallmark of the language, but I agree 
that it is probably more useful if spurious words caused an error instead of 
simply being ignored.

In your case you probably could not determine why the second last line was 
not accessed, and it was hard to find the culprit, since it was acting like 
a purloined letter.
