revServer Installation on DreamHost

I've just been going through this and with Andre's help, solved the libpcre side but my hosted VPS (Ubuntu Dapper 6.06) version doesn't support the necessary version of libcurl that revServer needs so I'm waiting for further enlightenment on Ubuntu's forum.

Still, item 6 may get your libpcre requirement fixed - and you may have a better libcurl version in your /usr/lib directory http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1637423
