Desktop innovation? Future of the desktop?

Its important, with kde at the moment, to get the latest, so I would go for
the Mandriva  2010.1 beta, the KDE One version, which has kde 4.4.2, the
latest and greatest.  Another well regarded kde4 implementation is
PCLinuxOS.
