Arrays instead of Sql

Tom,
As Phil said, we get acceptable speed using Custom Properties - even  
on databases with 100,000+ records - usually served by a Mac Mini.  
Compliments to Richard Gaskin who originally suggested the approach.
By the way: no SQL, no C, no extensions!
