Just one more question for Richmond re globals

I can't help flogging this moribund nag, because I did not understand  
Richmond's response to my question. Do you NEVER use globals,  
Richmond? I think that would make you pretty unusual, unless you are  
completely sold on custom props...

Just curious really.
