As an update, I finished the screen sharing session with Rich at 9:20pm his
time. By his lunchtime the next day he'd forwarded me a link to a
pre-release version of BBEdit that solved the
"SheetDidEndEventHandler(OpaqueEventHandlerCallRef)" problem - whatever that
means.

When the next release version of BBEdit comes out I'll be checking the
Release Notes for any reference to the above problem, I'll hiiglight it,
annotate it with "I found that", then print it out and frame it as my
contribution towards a perfect BBEdit ;-)
