30 and 31 August in Edinburgh

Hmm; pottering off to the travel agents tomorrow re booking return flights
from Sofia to Edinburgh. Now I am aware the conference officially starts on
the 1st of Sept, so reason (???) says fly on the 31st.

Just wonder if there is something I'm missing and should fly a bit sooner?

Similarly at the end; have to go up to St Andrews (to rummage in my attic)
after the conf. Should I leave Edinburgh on the 5th or will there be some
'post-conference' doings?

Ideas?
