Happy Thanksgiving

When my American friends and colleagues ask if we have Thanksgiving in  
England, I tell them that after 387 years we had gotten over the  
excitement of our first crop. I do mention that there are Harvest  
Festivals in some places, but certainly no national holiday.

But I do like turkey, so all being well I'm going over to join friends  
for dinner later!
