Windows question

I want to make a little app for Windows XP that will launch a slideshow and keep my app running so that when the slideshow is interuppted, it goes back to my app, but a password would be required to close my app. Is there a way to disable the Ctrl-Alt-Delete sequence so that the user can still use the keyboard to enter the password but cannot otherwise get around closing my app?
