If I remember right, there was a similar problem with Rev itself back
around 2.1. The solution was to Get Info on the application, and set all
the permissions (owner, group, and everyone) to read/write. The issue
was fixed with later versions of Rev.
I'd consider upgrading and rebuilding the standalone with 2.9 though.
Rev 2.1 is four years old, and I'd be surprised if it were entirely
compatible with newer versions of the OS.
