$0 keyword not the app name

Starting  Metacard from another program,
want to use the $0, $1 keywords to read command-line parameters.

 From the Doc $ Keyword:

    Examples:
    if $0 is not myAppName then answer "Problem initializing!"
    ...
    Use the $ keyword to interact with the system environment and
    to find out what arguments were used if the application
    was started up from the command line. >>

Well,  can't get the name of the appli, and $0 is set ot the 1st
parameter which is not an option ( starting with a "-" )

Mac OS X 10.4 , Rev 2.9.

Does someone already delt with this ?
