Hello,
F-ab 2.5.0 is now available for download.
F-ab is a simple browser for Flash movies. It is created by Runtime
Revolution 2.9. In F-ab, Flash movies are identified by channels
instead of URLs. Currently 1300 or more high-quality Flash movies are
registered in the channels.
Furthermore, YouTube videos are able to be registered in the
channels. To register them, open a YouTube web page by your web
browser, drag the favicon or thumbnail image there and drop it onto
the movie area of F-ab.
F-ab has a FLVPhone, which is a video conferencing telephone using
the Flash movie. In FLVPhone, an e-mail address is used to specify a
person to be called. Red5(Flash server written in Java) is embedded
in F-ab to communicate with remote FLVPhones.
Changes:
- The network performance has been improved. This version acquires
data from servers three times or more as fast as the earlier versions.
- YouTube APIs are used to register YouTube videos in the channels.
Thumbnail images and keywords of the videos are also acquired through
the APIs.
- Japanese can be used for various fields (the bookmark category
name, search criteria for YouTube videos and path names to export/
import bookmarks). Other double-byte languages will be able to be
used for them too.
Minimum Requirements:
- Internet Connection: Cable or DSL
- OS: Windows XP or Vista, Mac OS 10.4 or 10.5
- Memory: 512 MB of RAM
- Screen Resolution: 1024 x 768 or higher
- Java Runtime Environment 5 or 6
Recommended:
- Graphics card
- Web camera
