disabed edit menuitems [Richard]

ahhh, its not wanting editing while ask/answer file is up, its after  
it goes away that the standard cut/copy/past/undo *remains disabled*,  
surely thats not standard. Somehow the menubar is not being updated  
correctly both within the IDE and as a standalone.
