beta testing 2.9

Mailings were sent last week. We do have problems with bounces and people
not getting them sometimes. When we hear about those difficulties, we
re-send the beta info via another route. I've sent out another batch of beta
notices this morning -- there were about 20 new beta testers signed up over
the weekend. I also re-sent to all the bounces we got from last week's
mailing. If you still haven't received your announcement for Beta 11 please
let us know.
The beta version doesn't not have a set scriptLimit, but it does expire
roughly 60 days after release.
Also, for those of you who are in the beta program already, you know that
the download URLs follow a fairly predictable pattern, and the unlock code
you've received doesn't change. (So you should be able to download new
versions even if you somehow don't get a notification.)

There seems to be a problem with the beta mailings, namely that they
didn't get sent. I assume that somebody who works for RunRev will
handle it tomorrow, during business hours.
have fun
