Spam is no problem.

We run WordPress on our high traffic main site (http:// 
dvcreators.net) and get hundreds of spam comments per day... NONE of  
which ever appear, thanks to the fabulous Akismet filtering service.

I just looked, and 91,534 spam comments have automatically been  
caught in the spam filter! Wow!
