surely you recognise "Umm" as ironic :)
What I am aiming at is a way of assigning a
video-streaming source an IP address - this obviously
has to "come into the computer" via the Ethernet port,
and that means through a USB server of some sort. This
should make things easier, and less RAM-hungry for
anybody wishing to import and/or view video, and, with
reference to RunRev circumvent videoGrabber which is a
memory-hog and relies on Quicktime and/or Windows
Media.
