I forwarded this on to my friend who now lives in Malta and is a  
developer
for for Devon-Technologies (also was a Next developer). His reply to  
Kay's:

I have no idea if that helps you    ;-)      but that was his advice.  
Interesting guy and smart as
they come. Changes country every two years or so - next stop might be  
New Zealand, he
now thinks, as he is very interested in sailing and thinks that there  
is great sailing there.
