Accents

I am using rev 2.8.1 and Mac OS X version 10.4.11

I type in a script:

answer "¿Cuál?"

and in the box i get

jCu3l?

I type ¿Cuál? in a fld "xxx" and write answer fld "xxx"; I get tha  
same result: jCu3l?

Any hints?
