LibURLftpCommand error when port is specified

In the 2.8.1 documentation for LibURLftpCommand, it says I can use a
non-standard port. The script will not compile with ANY number specified as
the port, even 21. Any ideas? Is this a bug?

DOCS > "The port is the port number you want to connect to. If you don't
specify a port, port 21 is used. (On most systems, port 21 is the FTP
port.)"
