Unicode filenames

Kenji - thanks! That works perfectly on my UK English OS X system.

Another question...

If I build a file path eg. put "~/Desktop/unicodeFoldername/ 
unicodeFilename" into tFile

can I then write to that file (using the shell) provided I encode it  
as UTF-8 ie "uniDecode(uniEncode(tFile), "utf8") ?

I'll try it, anyway.
