Plug-ins for the Script editor

Several folks have made "plugins" or mods to the script editor.  
You've said you don't want to go 3rd party, but I've been testing a  
new script editor from Jerry called "GLX2" which is the best script  
editor I've used in 30 years of writing code (on and off!), might be  
worth checking out.
