activate

On a Mac I can use the applescript:

tell application "myApp"
	activate
end tell

to bring to the front an application (make it pop out in
front of all other open application windows).

On Windows is there some way to do the same?
Some shell script perhaps?

Might there even be some shell script that would work with
both OS X and Windows?
