Revolution Compatible with Debian Type Linux?

Hi All:

A real newbie here.

I have moved away from Windows XP for a lot of my work to Ubuntu Linux
distribution, which is a variant of Debian Linux.

Any sense whether the Revolution development package will install
properly on Debian Linux?  In any case, it sounds like I need to hang on
to my Windows installation to test the behavior of Revolution's code
under Windows...

...But I really hope I can install the development package on my Linux
distribution.  Any thoughts?
