80 bit extended number

Also, (haven't got there yet) I'm going to need to extract 24 bit  
signed integers from the file, and again, binaryDecode doesn't  
support this. It wouldn't be as simple as reading the two low order  
bytes as an unsigned integer and then multiplying that by the high  
order byte as a signed integer, would it?
