  I don't know PERL or PHP... all back end interactive  web processes  
at www.himalayanacademy.com and www.hinduismtoday.com are run by  
revolution... 100% Transcript driven web site(s). (linux server)

So, yes, it works and it works very well. I am sure there are others  
who could say the same...
