selectedField in 2.7 not working

i just did a "basic" test in 2.6 and 2.7. 

In both cases the selectedfield returns "field x"

what i think is happening is that on your mouseup, you unselect the 
field's selection... Which i verify...

what you need is this kind of script in your button:

local lastselection
on mouseenter
  put the selectedfield into lastselection
end mousenter

on mouseup
  put lastselection
end mouseup

im sure this will work the way you want it...
