Testing Runrev cgi with Xampp under Windows

Hi all,
   
  i've installed Xampp (an standalone instalation
  of Apache, PHP, MySQL and others) in Windows
  for testing locally my instalation of Moodle and
  the cms named Mambo.
   
  I had to start manually each service that i want
  to use, like Apache server and MySQL, but
  Xampp have a really easy to use interface.
   
  How could i use this Xampp to setup a local test
  of RR cgi?
  What are your experience running RR cgi locally
  under Windows? Any caveats or advices about
  risks or problems?
