issues that affect image rendering?

Thanks Mark, but I did get my Rev image conversion tool to work 
flawlessly, thanks to tips from Ken Ray and others.

I like GC too, but couldn't use it in this case - image conversion and 
renaming had to be done at same time, and is dependent on some 
conditions in the usage context.
