Can Rev as CGI pull an URL's HTML into a variable?

Second thoughts...

An alternate approach would be to forget the 'libraryStack' handler and just set 
the script of your new stack to the script of the "revLiburl" button. Then do 
everything else as already stated. This is a little more simple conceptually.
