I also would highly recommend CocoaMySQL although for some funny reason the
above site is out dated and refers to version 0.5. Try:

http://www.theonline.org/cocoamysql/

The name has changed to CocoaMySQL-SBG and it is currently at 0.7.1

Depending on which version of MySQL your working with may determine if you
'have' to use 0.7.1, it's all in the 'changes' listed on the above page.
