background grps and preOpenCard

Hmmm.

Thanks Jacque and Dave for checking this out for me.

The backgroundbehavior is true. After a restart, it's working now, so 
false alarm. I'm really not sure why, but perhaps Jacque was right, I 
had a 'preOpenCard' handler somewhere which was grabbing the message.
