the ubiquitous Answer Dialog: was Scope Problem on Standalones

I've encountered strangeness with 'Answer' lately as well.

I've been experimenting with HTMLTEXT in answer dialogs - and found
when you put certain multi-line html text into the prompt parameter,
the text not only stays within the confines of the window, but if it
is a certain length, a SCROLL BAR will appear. But you have to use
the stock icons, and in fact you can't reference ANY image in the
htmltext either, otherwise you'll lose the scrollbar. You can't even
specify a different one in the optional icon parameter.

Now this is a feature that I've wanted for a long time - a quick
window that I don't have to custom-build with a scrolling text field
for library documentation or for debugging or whatever. The question
is: is it a bug or a feature? Can I count on this in the future?

So this might be a workaround for your problem.

You can use Chipps's or Eric's tools to create the htmltext easily.
