open with on windows does not work with rev. Heeeeeelp :-)

You should be able to do this without editing the registry directly.

menu Tools / Folder Options ....  / File Types
Select the extension "rev"
If there is an "Advanced" button, click it and make adjustments
If there isn't, there should instead be a "Restore" button, click it - 
hopefully you then get an Advanced button and can make adjustments. If 
not, delete the extension from the list of known extensions, and re-add 
it properly.
If there isn't a "Restore" button - just delete the rev extension, and 
add it again.

(I think the most likely case if WinRAR has taken over the extension is 
that you'll need to "Restore", but will then get your Advanced button 
back - but it's been a while since I had to do this, and I may be 
misremembering).
