Well, PC comments coming out of the blue like that...
I wasn't too sure. Richard has said he depends on PC
users and was trying to answer issues about autorun
on PCs opened by a user previously (which I missed!)

While we laugh at these companies doing these big
time errors, those working with PCs are not entirely
enchanted with rather cynical PC-only jabs happening
in the list... Im working this Sunday to patch our
servers for yet another round of moft hotfixes. I'd
rather script in rev. But one pays the other doesnt ;)

what can I say... I know PCs and Macs share an equal
number of idiosyncracies. I know humor when I see it.

His post was not funny at all - just a casual drop
of a PC problem in a new thread. I tried to defend
both platforms being hit he didn't see the humor!

The autorun problem happens every year... Search
autorun at http://theregister.co.uk - you'll see.

If only Richard defended other users of rev in
face of bug idiosyncracies that affect PC or NTAdmins
some more than others (his clients or mac users), and would
reply to emails sent to him to explain why a bug is
not so casual I might be less critical of his criticism...

No offenses meant.

cheers
Xavier
