Looks like that page hasn't been updated for four or five years. 
Best.com dropped their newsgroups a long time ago and the HC list moved 
to Yahoo. <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HyperCard/>

The HC list used to be as active as this one. Now it is just a trickle, 
and there is virtually no scripting going on over there any more. Sad, 
but times change.
