Revolution writes a hidden folder to the root level of your user folder 
(at least, on Mac OS X.) If you are in OS X, use Terminal to see it. I 
suspect if you delete that folder, things may improve. This folder would 
be shared by any reinstallation and by all currently-installed versions.
