I could use cron and I probably would now, but I didn't know about
Cronnix when I set it up first.

While on the subject of cron, I have a Mac only Rev app that really
needs to be set to run at a specified time every day. I would like
this feature to be built in so that setting the preferences edits the
user crontab file. I used Cronnix to set up an example so I would know
the format to use, but when I look at the crontab file in an editor,
it's first line is:
   # DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE - edit the master and reinstall.

So now I'm not sure whether I dare actually write to this file
directly. Does anyone have any better ideas? Is there a way to edit
using another shell command?
