Select field

Hi all.

I am new to the list.  I am sure there is an extremely simple solution for this, but as I am tired, I can't seem to figure it out.

I have a field (let's call it "question").  The field has something like "click here to type" in it.  All I want to do is have the user left click there, the current text be deleted, and the cursor remain in the field so he/she can type.

Like I said, I am sure there is an embarrassingly simple solution for this.
