Noob: Amazed yet confused - Dreamcard vs Revolution

On Macs, the Online Viewer will display if you leave the Player in the 
same folder as the IDE. If you move the Player outside that folder, Rev 
Online will not open.

I thought it was the same for Windows too, but some people say it does 
not work. If anyone wants to do a quick test, I'd like to know.
