blend on Windows -- no go for graphics?

Thanks Chipp.  The srcOr ink is good in many cases, but in this one the 
benefit of blend is that it shows lots of different gradations where 
parts of the polygon overlap repeatedly.  In the UI I'm working on this 
communicates useful information to the user (relates to data density).

I've submitted a request to extend support of the blend ink for graphics 
on Windows:
