shell() not waiting - not hiding

I downloaded and tried it, and as I expected, it works just fine.  But I 
still have the same issue with the consoleWindow appearing, and the 
shell() function not waiting.  I'm just not sure what it is.

And as Kenji mentioned, it's usually hit or miss, which leads me to 
believe that something is screwed up somewhere. :)
