CGI Fiction Search Example

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to run Jacqueline Landman Gay's Fiction Search CGI example 
on my iBook.  I think I've set the correct file permissions for the 
files in the CGI bin; everything is read-write.  But when I try to do a 
search in my browser, it loads for a very long time and then I get the 
following internal server error (no. 500):

  The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was 
unable to complete your request.

inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have 
done that may have caused the error.

The same thing happens when I try to run her world.mt.  What am I doing 
wrong?
